Title: DSP Engineer
Summary: As a member of our high performance team, you will research and design software solutions to complex scientific and technical problems. Your special interests can be met and challenged in an environment that requires an application of diverse technology skills.

Candidate should demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of signal processing concepts: probability and statistics, linear algebra, signal detection, estimation and classification, filter design, signal and system modeling. Candidates with knowledge of electromagnetics, radio signal propagation are especially desirable.

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Work as a part of the senior technical leadership team to support the overall end-to-end technical architecture development for the company
  2. Define the software/firmware architecture for ground and airbourne RF modules that support diverse mission needs (signal discovery, analysis, geo-location, and processing) using heterogeneous processing resources, from RF input to metadata output
  3. Colloborate with the team implementing the developed software/firmware architecture
  4. Develop requirements for the RF payload based on the processing needs for the overall system, and work with the systems engineering team to ensure effective integration
  5. Support the development of interfaces for RF metadata transmission and storage
Desired Skills and Experience:
  1. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of signal processing experience, developing code and management of others doing signal processing coding, and integrating this code into signal processing systems.
  2. The successful candidate will demonstrate years of relevant experience in the design and coding of signal processing systems and will have multiple years of successful experience managing projects resulting in fielded systems.
  3. The successful applicant will report to Vice President of Engineering and enjoy input from a diverse technical and operations team.
  4. The successful candidate will supervise the efforts of all signal processing and waveform developers needed to process the sensory system collection.
  1. M.S. Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on digital communications systems is ideal, relevant experience will be considered if determined to be equivalent.
  2. Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality required
  3. Must be a United States Citizen
  4. Must be able to obtain and keep a minimum of a ‘Top Secret’ government clearance
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and keep a minimum of a ‘Top Secret’ government clearance.
Location: Chantilly, VA.
Travel: Up to 20% possible.
