Cooperative Radio Direction Finding System

WOLFHOUND V18 is the next generation of the WOLFHOUND man portable direction finding system. The system provides direction finding, early warning, force protection, and target acquisition capabilities.

It detects, intercepts, and geo-locates:

• Digital Mobile Radio (DMR)
• NEXTEDGE
• Frequency Hopping
• Standard VHF/UHF signals

In addition to being able to detect new signal types, the WOLFHOUND V18 features an all-new rugged design and web-based user interface. The system features:

• A frequency range of 30-512 MHz
• Very accurate (~5 degrees RMS error) DF targeting of adversary push to talk (PTT) radios
• A battery life of 7-8 hours in Cooperative Mode, or a battery life of 10 hours in Standalone Mode
• Operating temperature of 0°C to +40°C
• Web-based software interface for system control, post-mission processing & analysis
• Intuitive GUI
• Toggle DF/Monitor Modes and Audio Recording
• Real-Time Audio Streaming
• Overlays Line of Bearing (LOB) data onto map or imagery
